I am an Accounting Assistant with 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance, despite having a degree in IT/Networking Technology. I started my accounting career in 2015, where I was trained in-office and mainly handled taxation and BIR-related tasks.
From 2019, I worked with a freelance accounting team handling different clients with various accounting needs. One of our long-term clients is NWE, where I currently handle their accounting support.
My main responsibilities include:
Disbursement and payment processing
Billing assistance
Bank reconciliation
Monitoring and reconciliation of sales and expenses
Internal audit and checking of transactions
Monthly sales, expenses, and disbursement reports
Microsoft Excel and creating formulas to simplify accounting tasks
Basic QuickBooks
I am comfortable working with Excel-based accounting systems, financial records, bank transactions, and large amounts of data. I focus on accuracy, proper documentation, and making accounting processes more organized and efficient.
