I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, which I completed in 2023, and became a licensed Registered Nurse in the same year. I began my professional career as a bedside nurse in a Medical-Surgical Ward, where I gained hands-on experience in patient care, medication administration, clinical documentation, patient monitoring, and coordination with physicians and the healthcare team.
After three months, I was entrusted with the role of Charge Nurse, taking on additional responsibilities in coordinating staff, managing patient assignments, overseeing daily unit operations, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and standards. After 17 months, I was promoted to Head Nurse and currently serve as a Unit Manager, where I am responsible for overseeing overall unit operations, staff management, quality and patient safety initiatives, incident reporting, and administrative tasks.
My clinical experience and leadership background have developed my skills in medical documentation, healthcare communication, data management, organization, attention to detail, and coordination. I am now looking to utilize my nursing knowledge and experience in a remote healthcare role such as Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Scribe, Medical Transcriptionist, or Healthcare Administrative Assistant.
