I Help Freight Teams Keep Their Back Office Organized, Accurate, and Moving
Running a freight brokerage involves much more than finding loads and carriers. There are rate confirmations to prepare, documents to check, information to update, prospects to research, and follow-ups that cannot be forgotten.
When these small tasks start piling up, they can take attention away from the work that actually moves the business forward.
That is where I want to help.
I am a Virtual Assistant transitioning into the logistics industry, bringing 2.5 years of experience in remote support for a financial services company. My previous work involved market research, lead generation, influencer outreach, and social media management. These roles taught me how to work with large amounts of information, keep records organized, research prospects, communicate professionally, and follow processes consistently.
I am now applying those skills to freight operations.
I have also invested time in freight and logistics training to understand how brokerages, carriers, shippers, and shipments work together. I have studied areas such as quoting, carrier sourcing, booking, tracking, documentation, accessorial charges, BOLs, PODs, TMS workflows, and other parts of the shipment lifecycle.
I am not going to tell you that I have already saved a brokerage thousands of dollars or managed hundreds of loads. I am entering this industry, and I believe being straightforward about that matters.
What I can offer is a strong foundation in remote operations, a willingness to learn your systems properly, and the discipline to handle repetitive details without treating them casually.
Where Can I Support Your Team
Operations and documentation
I can assist with organizing shipment information, preparing and checking documents, updating records, following up on missing paperwork, and keeping operational information easy to track.
Tracking and follow-up
Freight does not always move according to plan. I can support shipment tracking, communicate updates, monitor exceptions, and follow up on documents such as PODs so that important information does not get lost in the shuffle.
Research and lead generation
My previous experience in market research and lead generation transfers naturally into freight sales support. I can research companies, identify potential shipper prospects, organize contact information, and build targeted prospect lists for your sales team.
Quoting and process support
Through my logistics training, I have developed an understanding of the information needed when evaluating freight, including mileage, weight, dimensions, pickup and delivery locations, accessorial considerations, and other factors that affect a quote. I am ready to apply this knowledge within your established processes and tools.
General virtual assistance
If your team needs someone to organize information, update spreadsheets or systems, conduct research, manage follow-ups, or handle other recurring administrative work, my previous VA experience gives me a practical foundation to contribute.
My goal is simple: become someone your team can rely on for the details.
You should not have to explain the same task repeatedly or wonder whether something was followed up on. I want to learn your workflow, understand your standards, and consistently execute the work according to them.
If you are a freight broker, 3PL, dispatcher, or logistics company looking for a reliable remote operations support specialist, I would be glad to learn more about your current workflow and where you need support.
Send me a message with the position you are hiring for, the tasks involved, and the tools or TMS you currently use. I am open to full-time, part-time, and project-based opportunities.
