I am a fresh graduate of Bachelor of Science in Biology, major in Microbiology, with a strong interest in microbiological laboratory work, research, and applied life sciences. My academic training provided me with hands-on experience in microbiological techniques, including microbial isolation and culturing, aseptic techniques, staining, biochemical testing, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, and the assessment of microbial characteristics. As part of my practical training, I completed an internship at Western Visayas Medical Center under the Bacteriology Department, where I gained experience in culturing patient samples, evaluating microbial growth on agar plates, and assisting in microorganism identification. I also developed skills in laboratory documentation and maintaining accurate records. I am detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to apply my microbiology knowledge and laboratory skills in an entry-level position in microbiology, research, quality control, environmental testing, food and pharmaceutical industries, or other related fields.
