Way back 2017 when I shifted from the conventional work set up to doing remote/work-from-home jobs. And I am not surprised, I am loving it. Like you, I started with a little knowledge that I've got from school plus 3 years spent with business process outsourcing industry. Where I did chat support, customer service, technical support and sales.
I am obsessed with ticking tasks off my to do list. And my "I won't stop until I get the job done" attitude makes it easier for me. I put a lot of soul and passion on what I do. And I believe it's not just the skills that makes a person awesome, it's the right attitude too.
All of that made me land to my 1st and unforgettable remote job experience. Where I learned a lot from basic stuff to more complicated -----------om finance, compliance and HR responsibilities to estimators and service coordinator role. Also was their scheduler, liaising with customers and booking colleagues for jobs. And even served as the CEO's personal assistant, managing his calendar, checking his emails and responding to those on his behalf where possible. This is where I realized how important being keen to details is, being organized, fast and accurate, and being able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
So now, I am back in the market and this passion remains with me. There's certainly more to learn as learning is an endless process. I am open-arms to opportunities that will broaden my horizon.
