I have been an addiction counselor in the treatment field for nine years now. Peer support specialist, case manager, head facilitator, outreach worker, and program director are the roles I have experienced. Currently, I am a part time volunteer at CDO Pathway to Recovery Foundation, Inc., a treatment center for substance use disorder that provides accessible and evidence-based services for the region. To further capacitate myself, I am currently taking up masters in psychology at a local university.
