Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in different roles with several companies. My first major job was in a BPO, where I spent five years as an Email and Chat Support agent. During that time, I learned a lot about customer service and was even promoted, which showed me the value of setting and reaching goals. After those years, I felt ready for new challenges, so I transitioned to working remotely, taking on roles like a Business Development Associate for a US client and later as an Upwork Talent Specialist.Each change in my career came from wanting to grow and develop new skills. For example, when I shifted from customer service to business development and talent sourcing, it was because I wanted to learn more about recruitment and connecting people with the right job opportunities. I didn’t move from one job to the next lightly—it was always about learning more, doing better, and making sure I could bring more value to the roles I took on.
