Managed end-to-end product development across a structured NPI portfolio, overseeing products from early-stage research through supplier sourcing, sampling, packaging development, and pre-production readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Product Portfolio & NPI Management
Managed a portfolio of 6-8 products in varying development stages, including research, sourcing, sampling, packaging development, and pre-production preparation. Maintained visibility across all active and pipeline projects to ensure progression through defined stage gates.
Supplier Sourcing & RFQ Coordination
Led structured supplier sourcing activities, coordinating RFQs across 5-10 manufacturers per product during initial sourcing phases. Evaluated quotations, manufacturing capability, and material suitability to shortlist 2–3 qualified suppliers per product for sampling and prototype development.
Sampling & Prototype Development
Coordinated iterative sampling cycles with selected suppliers, tracking prototype revisions, material adjustments, and functional performance feedback. Consolidated technical inputs from suppliers and internal stakeholders to support product refinement and manufacturability improvements.
Product Specification & Packaging Development
Supported development of product requirements based on market research, competitor analysis, and supplier feedback. Coordinated packaging copy development and production alignment to ensure readiness for manufacturing execution.
Risk & Progress Tracking
Monitored development risks including supplier delays, sampling inconsistencies, and cost variances. Escalated issues to relevant stakeholders and ensured corrective actions were tracked through resolution.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Acted as central coordination point between suppliers, procurement stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure alignment across sourcing, sampling, costing, and commercialization timelines.
