Pat worked as an Associate in the Financial Services Organization (FSO) Consulting, in the Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) sub-service line at SGV & Co. (EY Philippines).
In his previous role, Pat was responsible for performing independent valuation and hedge effectiveness testing as an audit support function for various financial instruments, fixed income securities, derivatives, and etc., using quantitative, market-acceptable methodologies and in compliance with the applicable accounting and financial reporting standards. He is also adept at using financial tools such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv Eikon.
Pat also contributed to internal audit projects in the financial services industry, where he focused on identifying operational efficiencies and risk mitigation strategies. In addition, he also created proposals and consulting support for Financial Institutions-related undertakings.
Currently, Pat is an Associate Analyst in the Risk Management Services department at EY Global Services (Philippines) Inc.
Holding a degree in BS Management Accounting from the University of Santo Tomas, Pat has a solid academic foundation.
