I've spent nine years building and shipping production software across some
genuinely interesting domains: fishery trading platforms, dental clinic
management, fashion e-commerce, finance tools, and sports community
apps.
Most of that work has been remote, async, and international. Clients in
Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Europe, the US, and Canada have sharpened both my
technical chops and my ability to communicate clearly without being in the same
room (or timezone).
These days I'm mostly in Next.js, React, and Vite with TypeScript throughout,
on a backend of Node.js, Supabase, and PostgreSQL. The other half of the work is
agentic engineering — building AI into products, and building the system I use
to ship them. That means agents that read and write live data through a
constrained tool surface rather than free text. Hence, their actions stay auditable,
a real-time multilingual voice platform on WebRTC, and an orchestration setup
that runs tests and code review on every task instead of when there's time.
I'm also training the engineering team at one of the largest lending
institutions in the Philippines on AI adoption, architecture, and delivery
practice.
Before the web work took over, I spent years in React Native and NextJS, and
that still shows up: six e-commerce apps for AU/NZ fashion brands, a white-label
platform behind 300+ branded storefronts, and apps on both stores under client
names. I care about the full lifecycle either way — architecture, API design,
CI/CD, performance, store release, and post-launch monitoring.
I founded ZKidz Dev in 2020 to have more direct ownership over the products I
work on. Since then, I've shipped 15+ production systems for teams ranging from
early-stage startups to established product companies.
If you're building something that actually needs to work in production, I'm
interested.
