Experienced Legal Assistant with 5 years of remote work expertise, specializing in Medical Records Retrieval and Personal Injury Law. My assigned roles were to:

• Call medical providers to confirm where to send Records and Bills Requests / Balance Reduction Request/ Balance Verification Request / Request for Final Lien (Mail, Email, or Fax)
• Generate requests and send them to providers
• Maintain frequent communication with providers for status updates and make sure they sent the records and bills in a timely manner
• Receive, verify, and update received records and bills from providers on CRM
• Pay for medical records’ invoices and download them from different portals (MRO, CIOX, PREFERRED MED NETWORKS, CHARTSWAP)
• Update clients’ case files on CRM (signed medical records, HIPAA authorizations/ID) • Create summary of records and bills
