Hello! I am Shello Siaboc Caburnay , from Philippines. I have worked with an independent adjuster for 5 years now.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Cebu City, Philippines. I was working as the lead estimator for an independent adjuster based in Los Angeles, CA, USA. My role involved receiving photos and scope notes from my client (uploading them to our system which is Xactimate and Claims Connect for Symbility, and writing estimates for the damaged items. I also prepared GLR based on the cause of loss, date of loss, and also handle invoices. It was crucial for me to ensure that my estimates adhered to carrier guidelines and were accurate.
I have over 5 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant, including extensive Shopify order processing experience. I’ve handled daily order fulfillment, payment verification, address corrections, refunds, tracking updates, inventory checks, and coordination with suppliers to ensure smooth operations. I’m detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing high volumes of orders while maintaining accuracy.
My job responsibilities includes:
Insurance Claims Management
Communicate effectively to my a my co-worker who did the inspection to resolve any issues related to claims.
Create and update estimates using Xactimate.
I handle all my client's work daily including his emails and inspection, and meetings.
I have handled water, fire, flood, hail claims that includes writing the roof and interior of the dwelling/building. We also write fence, sidings and sheds and other structures if it's covered to the policy.
