I am Carlo Z. Saavedra, I ‘m a graduate of Bachelor of Multimedia Arts from De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde and would like to make the best use of the skills I developed during my college and my 10-years working experience.
I started as an Art Intern at STATUS Magazine from June to August 2015, where I worked on article layouts, video teasers for monthly issues, and advertisement designs for both the online magazine and social media platforms. During this time, I also gained valuable experience in photography, editing, and multimedia production.
From February to August 2016, I worked at Green Sun as a Graphic Artist, creating graphic materials for internal events, marketing collaterals, and back-end office requirements. I then joined TaskUs as a Junior Graphic Designer from October 2016 to March 2018, where I helped create magazine-style creative proposals and presentation materials.
I later worked with Vigi Branding & Design Studios, focusing on logo design, branding, identity design, layout design, illustration, and photography for various clients.
From 2019 to 2024, I worked as a Freelance Multimedia Artist for Pushpin Solutions Inc., where I handled magazine, book, and brochure layout designs, illustrations, and graphics for explainer videos for organizations such as the World Health Organization and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
From 2024 up to the present, I have been working as a Freelance Layout Designer for Canva, creating templates ranging from digital social media content to print materials. I also started working as a freelance Storyboard Artist, collaborating closely with directors to create storyboards for commercial projects.
Alongside my design work, I also work as a Freelance Photographer for commercial projects, with clients including Philippine Airlines, Tang, Nustar, and Meralco.
Through these experiences, I’ve developed a versatile creative skill set, adaptability across different styles and industries, and a strong passion for creating meaningful and engaging visual content.
